What is ThinPrint?
ThinPrint is a print solution for server-based or mobile computing. ThinPrint limits bandwidth to optimize the
resources that printing would
normally use. Print data compression improves print
rate, even over limited bandwidth. ThnPrint is optimal for server-based
computing and is easily installed and configured.
Why do I need ThinPrint?
ThinPrint completes your server-based/thin computing optimization. ThinPrints Core Technology limits bandwith and resources on your thin and mobile devices. It also gets rid of all those drivers on your terminal server you had to manage. ThinPrint is the leading solution for server-based printing.

ThinPrint and MetaFrame XP:
- DRIVER FREE PRINTING with no loss of quality in color and high resolution
- Removes print spooling and rendering tasks from your terminal server
- Supports any printer incl. USB printers
- Supports many devices like terminals, network printers, printservers, and smart phones
- Supports all conventional servers (MetaFrame™, MetaFrame™ XP, Windows NT© 4, Windows© 2000, Windows© XP)
- Connection-based bandwidth control
- Best compression in every environment incl. dedicated print servers
- Supports any 'Quality of Service' system by seperating the print stream on port basis
- Transfer once, preview, print repeatedly on different printers
Optimal deployment of server- based computing is already a reality. Up till now the only real problem has been printing, because printjobs are not usually printed where they are created. Voluminous printjobs have always appropriated the limited bandwidths of LAN/WAN, and could not be processed at all by small end devices with only minimal resources (thin devices). Because of this, server-based computing and local printing have often been at conflict.
